What does a kitchen remodel entail?

We’re glad you asked! The beauty of a kitchen remodel project is that it can be a simple space makeover, or it can be part of a larger effort to transform your entire home. We can work with what you already have, or we can “scrap it” and start over. Have to-scale designs ready to build? Great! Don’t have a clue what you want? That’s cool too.

We find clients are usually somewhere in the middle, so we’ll ask you to bring your ideas to the table. We’ll talk through the logistics of your space and discuss what kitchen style makes sense in keeping with the style of the home (unless it’s a whole home remodel).

There’s a lot of manage during a kitchen renovation. It is helpful to think about where you’ll cook (take-out, anyone?), how you’ll do dishes (bathtubs come in handy here), and what it means for traffic flow through the house. But logistics such as getting permits are on us.

How will you quote my kitchen remodel?

We can start with a phone call or message (or both). Describe to us what you’re looking for, and we may be able to give you some rough estimates. Do you want to renovate the kitchen? Or are you looking for a kitchen and bath update? Kitchen redo as part of a full home remodel? We’ll also ask about specific requests.

Like, should you go with the Wolf 48″ Sealed Burner Rangetop with 6 Burners and Infrared Charbroiler you’re been drooling over for years? Or a more modest 4-burner stovetop with 20,000 BTU dual-ovens and an infrared ceramic broiler? Custom height cabinetry using barn wood from your family farm? As you see, some kitchen appliances options can get pricy. Remember, you spend a good majority of your life in the kitchen, whether cooking, eating or gathering. So, these details are important, and we make a point to make them important.
